For women who want to feel confident, nurtured, and truly held on their journey into motherhood.
Working in person with families in and around Baldock, North Herts & Central Bedfordshire
The journey into motherhood is powerful and can be deeply transformative.
Yet too often, women feel rushed, unheard, or alone.
I’m here to walk alongside you - offering grounded support throughout pregnancy, birth and the tender weeks that follow.
I’m Hannah
Mother of two, yoga teacher and doula.
I've been fascinated by birth since childhood but my experiences of becoming a mother changed me in ways I never imagined.
Now I support families through pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. I’ll help you strengthen and nourish your body and deepen trust in yourself so you’ll feel ready to embrace this exciting time of transition in the way that feels right to you.
Pregnancy and postnatal yoga to connect with body and mind
Postures to build strength and flexibility, or aid your recovery, breathing practices to support you through birth and into motherhood, and a warm and welcoming community.
Thoughtful, informed
birth doula support
Steady, continuous support throughout your pregnancy and birth. Time to talk, plan, and build confidence - in yourself and the process. Advocacy and calm when it matters most.
Traditional postnatal care and nourishment
Drawing on traditional approaches to nurture and sustain you. ‘Mothering the mother’, so you can focus on resting, bonding with and feeding your baby.
Having a baby shouldn’t feel like something to survive
But the negativity that surrounds birth these days leads to many feeling anxious and fearful. It doesn’t have to be that way. Understanding your options, having calm and continuous support, and preparing physically and mentally can completely transform your experience.

Pregnancy yoga helps you build strength and flexibility for birth, soothe your body, and support your baby into an optimal position. The breathwork you learn can be incredibly valuable during labour—helping you stay calm and focused.
But it's about more than just the physical. Yoga offers space for reflection and self-connection during a time of huge change. It's a chance to slow down, tune into your body, and explore who you're becoming as a parent. For many people, that weekly practice becomes essential self-care; a moment to breathe, connect with their baby, and feel supported by a caring community of like minded people.

The benefits of doula support are backed by solid research, and they've been recognised by the World Health Organisation. Women supported by doulas tend to have easier, shorter labours with fewer interventions. They're 50% less likely to need a caesarean, 40% less likely to need an instrumental delivery, and 60% less likely to ask for an epidural. Labour is on average 25% shorter. After birth, they're more likely to breastfeed successfully and less likely to experience postnatal depression.
But beyond the statistics, a doula offers something that can't be quantified—a calm, grounded presence, focused only on you. Someone to help you tune into your body and your instincts, to remind you of your strength, and to hold space for whatever unfolds.
Whether you're planning a home birth or navigating unexpected interventions, a doula can help you feel more informed, confident, and truly supported through the experience.

A traditional postpartum doula supports you through the fourth trimester using time-honoured practices focused on rest, nourishment, and recovery. While modern Western culture often pushes new mothers to "bounce back" quickly, traditional postpartum care recognises that your body and mind need time to heal and adjust.
This approach, found in cultures around the world, centres on the concept of a sacred postpartum window (usually around 40 days) where the mother is cared for so she can focus on bonding with her baby and recovering from birth.
Traditional postpartum support might include nourishing, warming foods and drinks, herbal baths, belly wrapping, massage, gentle support with infant care and feeding, and simply holding space for you to process your birth experience and this major life transition.
It's about creating the conditions for you to truly rest, be nourished, and step into motherhood feeling restored rather than depleted.
“Hannah helped hugely in giving me a positive mindset for birth and educating me about my options so I felt empowered throughout it all. I look back on it as an extraordinary experience.”
“Hannah’s support when I was tandem feeding was invaluable...her caring suggestions made so much sense to me and definitely helped me carry on breastfeeding my older child, just as we wanted to.”
